Simtech Update

Simtech has no more AD.FLY so when you go to download your chosen item you will go directly to the link without having to wait for the ad to load etc etc.
Both Jack and myself decided it was so much easier just to pay for a whole 12 months free from ads for members and guests. I know we are not the only ones to do this as many forums have done this before us and we will not be the last.
But I think its something to let everyone know that they we are now AD FREE woot woot LOL

sorry for being MIA

Just a note to say sorry for not updating here for the last few days. You see I have been in hospital RL. I was admitted with severe abdominal pain, first they thought it was my appendix, next they thought it was an internal hernia but after scans they found it was scar tissue from many ops breaking away from inside. The outcome - they can not do anything apart from give me pain killers and if the pain gets too bad I will be re-admitted to be put on morphine until the pain subsides. This weeend is to be a weekend of rest so I think I will try and get some simming done. Hugs to all xx

Competitions and Challenges

Hey all just a quick reminder that Simtech are holding a few comps which are still in the sign up stages

and our new comp

And of course not forgetting our Cowboy Round up Challenge. Amy one of our promotion team is giving away sim points to the one male or female simmer who can round up 25 MALE simmers to join Simtech. The reason we need males??? Well us ladies out number our male friends 50-1 on Simtech so we think it only fair to try and even the scores a little. WIP Eye Contacts

These are my very first eye contacts. Not bad if I do say so myself. They were made using TSR workshop, gimp  and a fantastic easy to follow tutorial by Anita at Capital Sims Here

I have not got them uploaded yet as I am trying to work out how to change the CAS thumbnail. If anyone knows how to do this with Gimp and TSR then please tell me. Once I figure out how to do that then I can do more eyes, hopefully LOL even if I am the only one who likes them xx

Messing around with gimp

From this to 

Over at Simtech round 3 for the modelling mayhem comp is under way and they have to do "elements"  So even though I am not in the comp I was so tempted to play around with the fire element, and this is what I came up with

Here is my version

At Simtech we have a request section for anything you need or would like someone to make for you. Our very own MV requested this sim. I had to try LOL fortunately she "LOVES" her.
